Mid-Century modern design by Raymond Loewy, an industrial designer known as the “father of streamlining”. Loewy lived by his own MAYA principle: Most Advanced Yet Acceptable. Lustrous “oyster” glaze on footed cups, 24K trim on all pieces. 28 pieces in all. Plates: 9.75″, 7.5″, 6″. Bowls: 8.75″, 5″. Cups: 4″. Saucers: 6.5″. In superb condition.
